Grief Educator Certification is a comprehensive grief training program led by renowned Grief Expert, David Kessler to help you confidently guide others and heal your own heart.
There's a Reason You're Here
You know the heartbreak of loss. You've experienced or seen in your clients that grief and trauma can break our hearts, obscure hope, and wreak havoc on lives.
You know that there is no magical solution to just "get over" or "move on” grief. And yet, you've also experienced that we're more resilient than we ever imagined. You've seen that - in time and with help - we grow around our painful wounds and we can experience the sweetness of peace, and remember with more love than pain.
Perhaps you wish there had been someone there to take your hand and guide you through the worst days. Or maybe something inside of you is whispering that you would like to help others find peace. Perhaps you would like to have even more tools and techniques to share with your clients or even those who come to you as a friend, seeking hope.
Together, we can make a powerful difference. For those in their darkest days, we can shine a light and point the way towards healing.

It's so fulfilling to able to help people see a light at the end of the tunnel. After my own daughter's death, everything changed for me. It's so meaningful to be able to guide from a place of experience and compassion. Thank you for empowering me to help others.
Grief Hurts
Loss is traumatic, complicated, confusing, and painful.
Counselors and therapists frequently tell me that they open their office door to see a patient broadsided by an expected loss. At the moment they experience the overwhelming stress and frustration that their education didn't prepare them for the depths of the excruciating pain.
There's a woeful lack of grief emphasis in today's professional and academic training.
So often, grievers get stuck in the rumination, guilt, and the "what-ifs".
As helping professionals, we expect ourselves to have the answers. We want to know how to compassionately guide someone out of the agonizing clench of grief. And yet, we see their pain consume them week after week, session after session.
As a Certified Grief Educator, you will know the best practices, most effective strategies, and the words that inspire hope and change. You will understand the 6 needs of the grieving and feel confident with a proven gentle but pragmatic approach to transform struggle into hope.
